Hyperbaric Chamber Therapy

What is HBOT
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy increases the amount of oxygen your blood can carry. An increase in blood oxygen temporarily restores normal levels of blood gases and tissue function to promote healing and fight infection. With HBOT our goal is to infuse the blood with enough oxygen by increasing the air pressure 3xs higher than normal air pressure, repairing tissues and restoring the body to normal function.
HBOT allows your lungs to gather more oxygen than normal, making it easier for your blood to carry that oxygen throughout your body. Allowing your body to fight bacteria, while stimulating the release of growth factors, and stem cells which promote healing.
Conditions Treated with Hyperbaric
Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
✔ Actinomycosis
✔ Acute carbon monoxide intoxication
✔ Acute peripheral arterial insufficiency
✔ Acute traumatic peripheral ischemia
✔ Air or gas bubble trapped in a blood vessel (air or gas embolism)
✔ Burns
✔ Carbon monoxide poisoning
✔ Chronic refractory osteomyelitis
✔ Compromised skin grafts and flaps
✔ Conditions that cause insufficient oxygen levels to reach the body's tissues
✔ Crush injuries
✔ Decompression sickness
✔ Delayed radiation injury
✔ Diabetic ulcers of the lower extremities
✔ Diabetic wounds
✔ Flesh-eating disease (also called necrotizing soft tissue infection)
✔ Gas gangrene (a form of gangrene in which gas collects in tissues)
✔ Inadequate blood flow in the arteries, including those supplying problem wounds or the retina during central retinal arterial occlusion (this is a blockage of a blood vessel in one eye that can cause sudden vision loss)
✔ Infection in a bone (osteomyelitis)
✔ Progressive necrotizing infection/fasciitis
✔ Skin infections that are causing the tissues to die
✔ Soft tissue radio necrosis and osteoradionecrosis
